Stereotypes

Poetry Jul 13, 2021

If she is a woman, she is responsible for cooking;
If he is a man, he must earn a living.

If she is a woman, she is automatically pictured spending her life in kitchen;
If he is a man, he is automatically portrayed by society as having a busy work schedule.

If he is him, he can't vent with tears;
If she is her, she has to be pampered.

If I ever met those 'char log' of society who built these stereotypes,
I really want to know from what gender did they belong,
so that they were able to be so hard on both men and women with their stereotypes.
