Post-Corona

Poetry Apr 18, 2020

After the quarantine ends,
Five more minutes with friends,
Will start to matter way more
Than what they did before.
One more bite of street food
Would drastically improve the mood,
Of course, some of the tea stalls,
Would be more crowded than shopping malls.
The sight of the next setting sun,
The sea and the sky through the horizon,
The next trek, or one long run,
Would surely never be forgotten.
The expanse of the sky with the stars so bright,
Will definitely bring us that memorable night.
All the things which we took for granted,
We'll appreciate, before going to bed.
