Poetry Jul 13, 2021

Those were the days to sit and stare, the
birds, their nests and their chirp in air.
The things we are craving for today, are no more of
the fun we are looking for the day.

Those were the times we worried for the future,
this too shall pass is the answer we humoured. Fishing and
sitting by a beautiful lake is what we desired, browsing
and surfing the internet is what we acquired.

Riding a horse, playing with a ball we added
as a bucket list, filling the colours of
zentangle and crochet
we reminisced.

Oh! what fun it is to experience this,
are the expressions we used to believe.
This time too shall pause, for everything to rebegin
the journey to re-live in.
